Behavioral Style
The Kirnova DISC Assessment is a dedicated behavioral-style instrument: 48 questions across the four DISC styles — Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness — captured in both natural and adaptive modes, with reverse-keyed control items to catch autopilot answering.
What is DISC
DISC describes four recurring behavioral tendencies. It does not label talent or character. It describes how a person is likely to approach challenge, people, pace, and rules — and how that shifts when pressure rises.
Drive, challenge orientation, decisiveness, and comfort moving through friction.
Expression, persuasion, social energy, optimism, and visible enthusiasm.
Patience, consistency, loyalty, supportiveness, and tolerance for sustained pace.
Accuracy, structure, standards, preparation, and disciplined follow-through.
Two different things
People conflate these constantly, so here is the plain version. One is a standalone instrument. The other is a layer inside a broader assessment, and how big that layer is depends on which TIGER you sat.
Standalone
A dedicated behavioral instrument with its own scoring, its own reproducible assembly, and its own report. It resolves to one of 16 DISC profiles and does not expire.
Inside TIGER
A TIGER Core sitting asks 24 DISC items alongside 24 personality items. TIGER Light is the shorter tier and asks 16 of 32. Either way the DISC layer feeds the five TIGER readings; it is not a substitute for the full DISC report.
What you get
The output is written for the person who answered it, and for the manager or coach sitting across from them.
How it works
Three steps, none of them hidden. The model labels are never shown during the assessment, so nobody can answer toward a style they want.
Respondents rate situation-relevant statements mapped to the four DISC styles, in both a natural and an adaptive framing. Reverse-keyed items are mixed in so autopilot answering shows up in the data.
Responses are normalized into D, I, S, and C signals for each context. The gap between the two is scored in its own right, because that gap is usually the most useful part of the conversation.
The scored pattern resolves to one of 16 profiles with strengths, communication preferences, and role tendencies. Interpretation stays with the people in the room.
What we don't claim
Candor is the positioning, not the fine print. If a claim is not yet supported by evidence we hold, it is not on this page.
For teams and partners
Coaches, L&D consultancies, and hiring teams use the Kirnova DISC Assessment as a professional, brandable behavioral profile — on its own, or alongside TIGER Core.
DISC results are decision support, not decisions. They describe workplace tendencies reported by the person answering; they are not a clinical, medical, diagnostic, or legal instrument, and they are never a substitute for interviews, references, work samples, or human judgment.
